Frequently asked questions about Taxi Romain, Pink Granite Coast
Looking for a taxi on the Pink Granite Coast, from Pleumeur-Bodou to Perros-Guirec? Here are the answers to the questions I’m asked most: area, hours, fares, payment, stations, airports and car.
Area and booking
Where do you operate?
My taxi licence is attached to Pleumeur-Bodou, with Île Grande and Landrellec. When booked, I also drive to and from Trébeurden, Trégastel, Perros-Guirec, Ploumanac’h and Lannion, from Penvénan and Tréguier to Saint-Michel-en-Grève. For train stations, airports and long trips, I go anywhere in the département and beyond.
What are your hours?
I work all year round, 7 days a week, Sundays and public holidays included, booking required. Very early in the morning is possible too: book ahead, the day before for an early train or flight. Last-minute requests are possible depending on my availability.
Which taxi should I call on the Pink Granite Coast?
I’m Romain, a taxi driver based in Pleumeur-Bodou since 2024. I work alone, with one car, so you always deal with me. The fastest way: online booking or WhatsApp on +33 6 22 48 49 62. My fares are the official ones set by the Côtes-d’Armor préfecture.
Do I need to book in advance?
For a station or airport transfer, or an important appointment, I recommend booking 24 to 48 hours ahead. I can often fit in a last-minute ride, depending on where I am. If I’m not available, I can recommend a trusted partner driver.
How do I book a ride?
Online on my booking page, on WhatsApp at +33 6 22 48 49 62, or by phone. I’m often driving, so a message gets a faster answer than a call. Give me the pick-up and drop-off addresses, the day, the time, and the number of passengers and bags.
Do you speak English?
A little. Booking in writing, with the form or on WhatsApp, is the easiest way for both of us: I read your message with a translator and confirm in writing, by WhatsApp, text or email.
How many passengers can you take?
Up to 4 passengers. For a family, 3 adults with children, or 4 adults without bulky luggage. For a bigger group, I can arrange a second car with a partner driver.
Fares and payment
How are your fares calculated?
By the taxi meter, at the official Côtes-d’Armor rate (préfecture order of 15 January 2026): €2.32 pick-up fee, €8 minimum fare. Day rate from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday; night rate from 7pm to 7am, plus Sundays and French public holidays. When you book, the meter already shows a few euros when you get in: that’s the drive I made to come and pick you up, which is legal and regulated in France.
How much do your most popular trips cost?
The fares below start from my taxi rank in Pleumeur-Bodou village. On these trips, I guarantee a maximum fare wherever you start from on the coast, for a direct trip with no detour and no stop; otherwise, the taxi meter applies. All my fares are on the fares page.

Yes. I wait for you on the taxi bays at the customs exit, then drive you to the Pink Granite Coast: from €166 by day to Pleumeur-Bodou village, never more than €172 by day and €255 at night, except Lannion (€175 and €261). All the details are on my Roscoff ferry page.

Yes, from €27 per stage. I collect your bags around 9am at your accommodation and drop them at the next stage before 4pm. The pick-up or drop-off must be in Lannion, Trébeurden, Perros-Guirec, Trégastel, Pleumeur-Bodou, Île Grande or Landrellec. All the details are on my luggage transfer page.
Can you take me back to the UK?
Not to your door, but if you need to leave quickly, without renting a car, I can drive you to the Roscoff ferry or to an airport: Brest, Rennes, Nantes or Paris. Charles de Gaulle Airport is from €1,276 by day from Pleumeur-Bodou.
Do you do long trips, to Paris or abroad?
Yes. I’ve already driven 500 km to a Paris airport and 1,300 km to Madrid. For other destinations, I give you a quote: a door-to-door trip, with no change of train or bus.
How do I get to Trégastel or Trébeurden without a car?
The TILT bus exists, but with no service on Sundays or in the evening. A booked ride is the simplest: see my Trégastel and Trébeurden pages.
