From Trébeurden, Trégastel or Perros-Guirec, the fare depends on the area: the lowest for the town centre, the highest for the furthest points, such as Ploumanac’h or the Trégastel seafront. Day: 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday. Night: 7pm to 7am, plus Sundays and French public holidays all day. If the trip runs from day into night, the rate for the longer part of the trip applies.
Fares updated on 24 October 2026.
Guaranteed maximum fare
On these trips, between the Pink Granite Coast (Pleumeur-Bodou, Île Grande, Landrellec, Trébeurden, Trégastel, Perros-Guirec, Lannion) and the destination, both ways, you never pay more than these amounts, wherever you start from. One exception: between Lannion and the Roscoff ferry, the fare is €175 by day and €261 at night.
| Trip | Day | Night, Sun. |

How a taxi fare is calculated in France
I don’t set my prices myself: the préfecture sets them for every taxi in the département. The rate depends on the time of day and on how the taxi gets back to its rank, with a passenger or empty.
| Rate | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pick-up fee | €2.32 | |
| Rate A | Day (7am to 7pm), the taxi returns with a passenger | €1.18/km |
| Rate C | Day (7am to 7pm), the taxi returns empty | €2.36/km |
| Rate B | Night (7pm to 7am), Sundays and public holidays, return with a passenger | €1.77/km |
| Rate D | Night (7pm to 7am), Sundays and public holidays, return empty | €3.54/km |
| Waiting or slow traffic | €28.64/h | |
| Minimum fare | Extras included | €8.00 |
In practice, for a one-way trip such as Pleumeur-Bodou to Lannion station, it’s rate C by day and rate D at night, on Sundays and public holidays. There is a €4 extra from the fifth passenger.
A little something for long night trips. At night and on Sundays, for a trip of more than 20 km starting or ending in Pleumeur-Bodou, Trébeurden, Trégastel, Perros-Guirec or Lannion, I don’t charge the drive to come and pick you up: only the pick-up fee and your own kilometres.
When you book a taxi in France, the meter already shows a few euros when you get in: that’s the drive I made to come and pick you up. It’s legal and regulated. All the official rates are in the Côtes-d’Armor rates order (in French).

What is Romain’s guaranteed maximum fare?
On the main trips (Brest and Rennes airports, the Roscoff ferry, Lannion, Plouaret-Trégor, Guingamp and Saint-Brieuc stations, Paimpol and Morlaix), I guarantee a maximum fare, by day and at night, both ways, whether you start from Pleumeur-Bodou, Île Grande, Landrellec, Trébeurden, Trégastel, Perros-Guirec or Lannion. It applies to a direct trip, with no detour and no stop. If you ask me to make a detour or stop on the way, the taxi meter applies. One exception: between Lannion and the Roscoff ferry, the fare is €175 by day and €261 at night.
Does the fare depend on my pick-up address?
Yes, a little, because the fare depends on the kilometres. That’s why the fares table is sorted by starting point: Pleumeur-Bodou village, Île Grande and Landrellec, Trébeurden, Trégastel and Perros-Guirec, or Lannion.
Who sets taxi fares in Brittany?
In the Côtes-d’Armor, the préfecture, through the order of 15 January 2026: €2.32 pick-up fee, €2.36 per km by day and €3.54 per km at night for a one-way trip, minimum fare €8. The amount shown on the meter at the end of the ride applies, except on my main direct trips, where I also guarantee a maximum fare.
Why is a taxi more expensive at night and on Sundays?
The night rate applies from 7pm to 7am, and all day on Sundays and French public holidays. This higher rate is set by the préfecture, like the rest of the fares.
Why does the meter already show an amount when I get in?
Because you booked: I drove to your address, and that drive is counted. It’s legal and regulated in France. At night and on Sundays, for trips over 20 km on the coast, I don’t charge it.
Is there a minimum fare?
€8, extras included. No taxi ride can cost less in the Côtes-d’Armor.
Are there any extra charges?
€4 from the fifth passenger. Waiting time is charged at €28.64 per hour. Clean, dry dogs are welcome; a €5 extra may be asked if the car needs cleaning after the ride.
How can I pay for my taxi?
By bank card or contactless with the terminal on board, in cash, with Wero, by bank transfer, with a payment link sent in advance, or with a business account and a monthly invoice. I give you an invoice for every ride.
Should I book in advance for a train or a flight?
Yes, it’s strongly recommended: the day before if possible. You book online or on WhatsApp, and I make sure I’m on time.
How can I know the price before booking?
With the calculator on my booking page: enter your pick-up, your destination, the day and the time, and an estimate at the official rate appears. You can book straight away. For the main trips, the table on this page already gives you the fare for your starting point.
Do you do long-distance trips, even abroad?
Yes. I’ve already driven clients to a Paris airport and taken a family home to Madrid. If you need to get back to the UK quickly, I can take you to the ferry or to an airport. Send me your request on WhatsApp or with the form: I give you a price.
Do you speak English?
A little. Booking in writing, with the form or on WhatsApp, is the easiest way for both of us: I read your message with a translator and reply in writing.
